Angelucci Jewelry has been a family business since 1907, and today the fourth generation runs it. Pasquale Angelucci was born in Los Angeles and managed the family's store by the age of 17. He also spent time living in Italy, and he returned to the family business in 2006. Our motto hasn't changed in all that time: love your clients, treat them well, and you will have a client for life.

How Our Custom Engagement Ring Process Works
- Consultation. We start with a free, no-pressure conversation in person or over a virtual appointment. We'll talk about the style you're after, your budget, your partner's taste and your timeline. Then we'll show you center diamond options side by side.
- Design and CAD. We use CAD (computer-aided design) to turn your idea into a precise 3D model of the ring. You can see the setting, band width and stone placement before anything is made, and request changes until it looks right.
- Setting the stones. Once you approve the design, the ring is cast in your choice of gold. The center diamond and any accent diamonds are then set by hand and the ring is finished and polished.
- Delivery in 2 to 3 weeks. Most custom engagement rings are completed in 2 to 3 weeks from order. Expedited service is available if your proposal date is close. Your ring comes with a diamond certificate, an appraisal and a receipt of sale.
Lab-Grown vs. Natural Diamonds
We work with both lab-grown and natural diamonds, and we'll help you compare them honestly.
Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds. They have the same chemical makeup, hardness and sparkle as a mined diamond. The difference is that they are grown in a controlled environment rather than formed underground. Their biggest advantage is value: you can usually choose a larger or higher-quality center stone for the same budget. They're also conflict-free by origin. Most of our engagement rings feature lab-grown center and side diamonds.
Natural diamonds formed deep in the earth over billions of years. Some buyers prefer them for their rarity and tradition. They cost more than a lab-grown diamond of the same size and quality.
